Same story. Different format. The Heritage Culture Book also comes as a premium magazine edition. Same research. Same writing. Magazine-style layout instead of hardcover. Alternative format at no extra cost. Available when you order the Heritage Culture Book.
Note your preference ("magazine format") in the order form. Or email us after ordering. We'll build it in the format that fits your family best.
Ask Bear About Magazine Format →We use five core archives: FamilySearch, U.S. Census records, border crossing documents, Church parish records, and Spanish nobility registries.
FamilySearch is the world's largest genealogy database. 100% free. Run by the LDS Church. Census records cover 1850–1950 online. Border crossings come from NARA archives at El Paso and Nogales.
What we can verify: Birth and death dates. Migration patterns. Occupations. Family structure.
What we can't: Pre-1850 genealogy gets difficult fast. Records don't exist. Or they sit in offices we can't access online. Oral family history is included as-is. We verify what we can in the archives.
You stay in control. Before we write your book, we show you everything we found. You verify it. You correct it. If something doesn't match your family's story, we change it.
This is the kind of story most families don't know they have. We found this one.
Can't find family photos? We search for them.
We dig through historical archives, regional newspapers, church photo collections, and immigration records with attached photographs.
We also search public domain collections to find images connected to your family's time, place, and story.
What you get: Every image we find that connects to your family's story, delivered with your book. Full sourcing and usage rights documentation included.
Add Photo Research — $150Note: Most families are surprised what exists. Pre-1890 photos are rare. We'll be honest about what we can find.
