Underdog Heroes was founded in 2020 on a simple conviction: the dogs the system writes off deserve a real chance. From a home base in Riverside, California, Shoshi has built one of the most vocal and visible rescues in Southern California — taking in the pit bulls, bully breeds, mastiffs, cane corsos, and rotties every other rescue passes on.
Her work has been featured in Newsweek and Yahoo News, and a community of more than 45,000 supporters follows every pull, every foster, every adoption. Real responsible rescue is slower, harder, less glamorous — and it is how she has spent the last five years.
